MPM product warranty
MPM guarantees the supplied product under Articles 1490 and subsequent of the Italian Civil Code. The warranty is valid for twenty-four (24) months from the date of delivery. It covers repair and/or replacement of the defective part. The Buyer bears the cost of transporting the product.
The Buyer must report apparent defects within 8 days of delivery. Hidden defects must be reported within 8 days of discovery. The report must be made in writing (via registered letter or PEC). We recommend attaching photos and/or videos of the identified defect.
MPM reserves the right to verify the defect and may opt to replace the entire supplied product.
The warranty does not cover: Damage occurring during transport or caused by accidents, impacts, misuse, unauthorized modifications or repairs, tampering, lack of proper maintenance, normal wear and tear, and deterioration due to environmental or atmospheric agents affecting colors and materials.
The warranty is valid only if, in MPM’s discretion, all assembly, installation, and usage guidelines outlined in the technical catalog available on the company’s website (www.mpmprotections.com) are followed. Please consult the technical sheets of each product in the mentioned catalog.
If MPM or a certified MPM installer performs the installation, the warranty will be void if third parties intervene without authorization after installation.

Warranty exceptions
Products containing electrical and electronic components are subject to a warranty period of twelve (12) months instead of twenty-four (24) as previously stated. The same conditions and limitations outlined for the standard warranty also apply to these electronic and electrical components.
Impact Resistance and Uncontrolled Environments
MPM protection systems are tested following the criteria defined in the UNI/TR 11886 Technical Specification. Impact capacities indicated in catalogs and websites refer to lab tests conducted per UNI/TR 11886-1 and UNI/TS 11886-2, which cannot account for installation conditions and site-specific characteristics.
Test data refer to a complete product of specified length, and performance may be influenced by improper maintenance, installation methods, and flooring nature. The product may also be affected by unpredictable environmental installation conditions, such as weather, pedestrian and vehicle activity, natural disasters, and chemical or abrasive exposure.
The warranty does not cover installations on flooring or walls that do not meet the minimum standards outlined in the product’s technical specifications or MPM’s official materials.
Temperature
The standard operating temperature for industrial protections is generally +5 °C to +60 °C. For installations in low-temperature environments down to -30 °C, an alternative material, FROSTEX, must be requested; otherwise, the warranty will be void.
Color
Color integrity and brightness may slightly vary after prolonged exposure to direct sunlight. For outdoor applications with direct sunlight exposure, the gray color or the REFLEX ALPHA material for outdoor use can be selected to ensure better color durability under UV exposure.
Limitation of Liability
The maximum compensation under this warranty will not exceed the amount paid by the customer for the disputed product. MPM and/or its distributors/resellers are not liable for economic losses, loss of use, anticipated profit loss, contract loss, goodwill loss, brand image damage, anticipated savings loss, data loss or usage, defective product costs, and any consequential, special, or indirect damages.
