Streparava x MPM
Industrial protections
We are
always truly proud to say that leading Italian companies choose MPM. Today,
we’re sharing the story of our collaboration with STREPARAVA S.p.A.
Who are STREPARAVA S.p.A. and MPM?
STREPARAVA S.p.A. has been operating since 1951 in the automotive sector as a supplier to major international OEMs, offering innovative solutions for the mobility of today and tomorrow.
MPM has been active for years in the field of flexible barriers for industrial environments, quickly becoming a trend setter for the international market.
The connection between these two companies led to the development of a project at Streparava’s headquarter in Adro (BS), the beating heart of this globally renowned company.

THE CASE STUDY
Everything started with Streparava’s success.
The expansion of their facility led to a significant increase in internal flows of goods and people, consequently raising the risk of interference between material handling vehicles (such as forklifts) and pedestrian routes.
This scenario highlighted the need to adopt more advanced structural solutions to ensure the safety of all operators and to create a safer workplace by clearly defining pedestrian and vehicle transit areas.
As Eugen Pirotta, Safety Engineer at Streparava, explains:
“From this need came the requirement to launch a feasibility analysis to develop a project for the physical separation between vehicle and pedestrian areas, in order to prevent potential accidents and overall improve working conditions within the plant.”
Why did they choose MPM?
As a global leader in the field of flexible barriers, MPM has decades of experience in industrial protection. It offers innovative solutions, certified according to the latest standards and tested with the most rigorous methods, as defined by UNI Technical Standards.
That’s why, when Streparava identified the need to define and secure its transit areas, the company naturally turned to MPM as a partner for improving the safety of its facility.
How did they consider MPM as a potential supplier?
Streparava came to consider MPM as a potential barrier supplier through research, both via independent online searches and by listening to the opinions of other companies that had already collaborated with MPM.
After an initial contact and the submission of a collaboration proposal, Streparava was impressed by:
- The completeness of MPM’s offering, capable of providing a solution for every corner of the plant and warehouse;
- The perceived quality of the products selected for the project, such as the PED 150, Rack Protectors, and Link LM Rack End;
- The consultative and tailored approach adopted by the MPM team.
Following a careful evaluation, the company decided to move forward with MPM as the supplier for the safety project at its Adro plant.

The relationship between MPM and Streparava
At MPM, we pride ourselves above all on one thing: our human approach.
MPM stands out in the flexible protection market not only thanks to products with outstanding impact resistance and superior technical features, such as the V0 classification according to UL94, but above all for its ability to respond promptly and personally to those who rely on us.
Our focus on listening and clear communication was also confirmed in our collaboration with Streparava.
After an initial exchange of information that was always clear, timely, and aimed at concretely addressing Streparava’s needs, MPM developed a tailor-made safety project, taking into account site traffic and handling operations.
Like many of our partners, Streparava chose to handle the installation of the barriers internally. And, with the technical support of our specialists, the process was completed smoothly and without complications.
This was made possible by the ease of installation of our flexible barriers, which, even in large-scale projects like the one carried out with Streparava, are designed for quick assembly, reducing downtime as well as installation and maintenance time.
Throughout and after the installation, MPM proved to be a reliable and present partner, offering consistent support and demonstrating the care and attention that set us apart.
What does Streparava think of MPM solutions?
In the words of Eugen Pirotta:
“The safety solutions provided by MPM proved to be effective from the very beginning. The physical separation between pedestrian and vehicle areas has significantly improved safety management within the facility, reducing the risk of interference and increasing the staff’s perception of safety. The materials used and the quality of the protections exceeded our expectations, both in terms of robustness and durability over time. To date, we can say we are fully satisfied with the choices made, with tangible results in terms of operational safety and space organization.”
A successful collaboration between two Italian excellences.
